Blake Creek consistently works with attorneys to assist water users in defending and protecting their water rights and water use.
Water Adjudication
Montana's statewide water adjudication impacts all water users whose water right was put to beneficial use prior to July 1, 1973 and for which a claim was filed.

This statewide lawsuit has been ongoing for over 30 years and is moving towards completion. The adjudication is conducted basin by basin. When a decree is issued in a basin it is very important that water users analyze their own water right claims as well as those of others.

Blake Creek staff specializes in the adjudication process and providing guidance to water right owners and their attorneys on options and alternatives for protecting their water right claims, objecting to other's claims, responding to counter objections, and options for settlement.
